Coffee & Board Games with Individuals with Disabilities – 5/2/18

May 2 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

We’re teaming up with Franklin County Recreation to help with their Coffee & Board Games event for young adults with disabilities. Volunteers will help welcome attendees and families and socialize and play games with them. This will be a great interactive event to help our neighbors with disabilities have a fun evening out!

What to expect: Volunteers are needed primarily to play games with the attendees and assist in any other way as prescribed by the staff of Franklin County Recreation. 


Dress: casual!


About Franklin County Recreation: The purpose of Franklin County Recreation is to promote community activities, leisure time and social opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, and to help recreation members connect to opportunities in their community.


About #CbusGivesBack: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals.
