About LifeCare Alliance: LifeCare Alliance provides services to assist older adults or chronically ill residents in Franklin and Madison Counties. These services include home meal delivery, homemaker and home health aides, and health services from RNs at our Wellness Centers. The primary goal of each of their services is to help seniors remain in the comfort of their own homes with dignity, which is where 100% of them want to be.
About the Columbus Cancer Clinic: The Columbus Cancer Clinic provides low-cost or free head-to-toe cancer screenings and mammograms, cancer prevention, and education. The program aids underserved individuals in central Ohio through its outreach and education efforts.
About Project Blues: We bring the sound and the emotion of Blues Music, a charity concert to Columbus Ohio with our yearly show to raise monies, for those individuals and families afflicted by cancer. A full day event and concert, along with a private blues concert for cancer patients, raising money for the human element, not the research. What we do, takes care of those that can’t afford treatments, mammograms, food, clothing, etc. etc. Cancer devastates everything in one’s life, not only the individual but the family as well. This is where we come in.
About #CbusGivesBack: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals.
