Columbus Gives Back will select a volunteer each month that displays excellence in community service. We will spotlight each individual and provide some information about them to applaud their giving spirit and a job well done!

Our volunteer of the month for July 2019 is … Matt Boggus!

We asked Matt a few questions about his CGB experience:

1. How and when did you become involved with Columbus Gives Back?
I found out about CGB online, almost a year ago, while looking for volunteer opportunities as a way to give back to Columbus communities. Since my workload varies throughout semesters, the scheduling flexibility of the CGB events is a great way to help out more often when my schedule permits.
2. What is your favorite CGB event?
I like the Habitat for Humanity event because I think the cause is a great one to support, and there’s such a wide variety of tasks there it always feels kind of new each time.
3. What is your favorite CGB event?
Senior Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering
4. What are your hobbies/favorite things to do on your down time?
Board games, reading, volunteering, working with animals, and learning new skills

Thank you, Matt, for being an awesome volunteer!
