Write letter to non-profit: Several of our partners have indicated the individuals and families they serve – who may be feeling isolated – and the staff who are still working tirelessly to serve them – who may be feeling exhausted – would be thrilled to hear from someone just thinking about them. Help out your neighbor!
Clean litter from your block: Grab some trash bags, put on some gloves, and walk the block! Snap a pic, tag #cgbingo, and you might inspire your neighbors to do the same!
Donate blood: The American Red Cross is still facilitating blood donations to thousands of people in need. Sign up to donate at a center near you!

Adopt/foster a pet: Especially for those of you spending more time at home, now is a great time to consider adopting or fostering a pet! Check out:
Donate food/hygiene items to food pantry or purchase wishlist item: The need for help securing groceries and toiletries is even greater during this pandemic. Consider donating food or hygiene items to a food pantry near you! Several of our partners are also serving more people with fewer volunteers at this time and are making COVID wishlists. Order food from a local restaurant: Many local restaurants need your takeout/delivery orders to remain successful at this time and employ as many of their workers as possible. We highliy recommend “Support Columbus Eats” built specifically for this cause! Columbus Monthly keeps a running list of restaurants offering takeout or delivery services and The Columbus Ale trail and The Columbus Coffee Trail from our friends at Experience Columbus feature a number of local breweries and coffee shops to start from!
Sponsor meal for non-profits: Several of our partners are still serving meals, and some are serving far more meals than usual. This is a great need you can fill by cooking or financially sponsoring a meal. Consider these nonprofits:

Help deliver Meals on Wheels: If you are able to deliver Meals-on-Wheels to homebound seniors and people with medical challenges in Franklin, Marion, Madison, Champaign, or Logan counties, please sign up here! LifeCare Alliance is offering 11am orientations daily to get new volunteers on the road as soon as possible!
