Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us and the Mid-Ohio Foodbank at their Kroger Community Pantry! We will be greeting families and assisting them as they shop on the pantry floor (food selections, pushing carts, bagging groceries), organizing and maintaining stocked shelves, and keeping the space clean, welcoming, and dignified. Volunteers will occasionally be lifting up to 50 pounds and will be on their feet for this whole shift.
Where: 3960 Brookham Drive, Grove City, OH 43123. Parking is free and on-site. Enter through the food pantry doors on the east side of the building (closest to I-71). Check in at the food pantry office to sign-in.
When: Wednesday, April 24th from 5:00pm – 8:30pm
Event Leader(s): Caleb@columbusgivesback.org

What to Wear: Attire should be something casual, comfortable and that can get dirty. Since warehouse climate can be tricky, layers are recommended. For safety purposes, we cannot allow volunteers to wear open toed shoes, sandals, or loose jewelry/clothing.
About Mid-Ohio Foodbank Kroger Food Pantry: Established in 2012, the Kroger Community Food Pantry operates as a choice food pantry and is open to the community four days a week. Individuals and families with household incomes less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible to receive food from the pantry.
#SocialTwist: We encourage our volunteers to join us afterwards for food and drinks to get to know our other cool volunteers like you!
