About #CbusGivesBack: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals.
About the Arthritis Foundation: The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related-diseases. Arthritis encompasses more than 100 diseases and conditions affecting joints, the surrounding tissues, and other connective tissues. We work endlessly to support the 486,000 people in central Ohio and 11,500 children statewide who have arthritis. On a grander scale, our efforts support the 46 million (one in five) Americans who are currently battling arthritis.
How to find the group: Once you park in the South Garage at the Convention Center, you will be able to take an elevator from that garage, directly up to the Battelle Grand (this is clearly marked in the elevator). Once you get off the elevator, the registration tables will be to the right.
Other details (what to wear, etc.): Please wear a black dress, or black bottoms and a white blouse.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of our events, an accurate headcount is important. Please contact one of the event coordinators if you have RSVP’ed but are unable to attend this event.
