My CGB Story
I had been on the hunt to volunteer and to meet more people around Columbus. Honestly, I totally owe my CGB involvement to my friend Kara – she found the website and suggested we sign up for an event. So, on a cold winter evening, we made our way to Columbus Global Academy to volunteer in their Student Success Store. The work was easy, but it was clear that the help was really crucial to make this student store a true success (see what I did there? 🙂).

After that, I was hooked! I love that I’m learning about nonprofits across the city and getting to experience volunteer opportunities I would’ve never joined in on my own. Bonus? I’m meeting some fun, like-minded individuals who want to make Columbus a better city for us all.

My favorite CGB event
Volunteering with the Little Bottoms Free Store. I love their mission, and all the families that come in are so sweet. Everyone is always appreciative, and I love being a part of it.

My hidden talent is…I have really nice, unique handwriting. I’ve been told it could be its own font.
